TNRとは、Trap・Neuter・Returnを略した言葉です。捕獲器などで野良猫を保護し、

不妊・去勢手術を行い、元の場所へ戻す。

望まれない出産をなくし、殺処分数を減らすのに有効な手段と考えられています。
